The Central European Gas Hub AG (CEGH), a subsidiary of OMV Gas & Power GmbH (80%) and Wiener Börse AG (20%), is one of the most important trading platforms for natural gas in Central Europe, with nearly 150 registered companies. CEGH offers international gas companies trading platforms within the Austrian gas network, operating both the CEGH OTC Market and the CEGH Gas Exchange of the Vienna Stock Exchange, which includes both a spot and a futures market. In 2020, CEGH recorded a total trading volume of 992 TWh of natural gas. Thanks to this development, CEGH has become a leader among gas hubs in Central and Eastern Europe.
